Zambia Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Annual General Meeting

The Institute holds General meetings annually, which all members are supposed to attend to review the performance of the Institute and the logistics and transport industry. Pertinent issues affecting logistics and transport in Zambia and the region are discussed such as road infrastructure maintenance, construction and financing; passenger and freight transportation; logistics performance and human capital development. The 2024 Annual Conference and General Meeting to be Held from Thursday 15th to Saturday 17th August, 2024 at David Livingstone Safari Lodge and Spar in Livingstone, Zambia

NOTICE OF THE 30th ZAMBIA CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORT (ZCILT) 2023 ANNUAL CONFERENCE & GENERAL MEETING (AGM) Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with Section 10 (3) of the Zambia Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Act No. 4 of 2014, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Zambia Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (ZCILT) will be held at Chrismar Hotel in Livingstone from Thursday, 17th to Saturday, 19th August, 2023 under the theme “Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA): Opportunities and Threats for the Logistics and Transport Industry in Zambia.” All ZCILT Individual and Corporate Members; and logistics and transport stakeholders are encouraged to attend the AGM. The following business will be considered: 1. To Consider opportunities and threats presented by the implementation of AfCFTA. 2. To Receive and Consider Minutes and Matters Arising from the previous AGM. 3. To Receive and Consider the Income and Expenditure Account, Balance Sheet, and the Report of the Auditors for the year ended 31st December, 2022. 4. CERTIFICATE OF PROFESSIONAL COMPTENCE

Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Training ZCILT is a professional regulatory body established by Act No. 4 of 2014 of the Laws of Zambia. The mandate of the Institute is to regulate the practice of Logistics and Transport; and to promote, encourage and coordinate the study of the science and art of Logistics and Transport in Zambia. The Institute seeks to advance professional development of its members and persons employed in the logistics and transport industry through Continuous Professional Development (CPD) trainings. In this regard the Institute conducts CPC trainings for its members and persons employed in the logistics and transport industry in order to enhance efficiency and effective in logistics and transport operations. Therefore, the Institute will be conducting a CPC training as per details provided below. ZCILT Online Registration

The Zambia Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (ZCILT) wishes to inform its general membership and prospective members that the institute has now embarked on an online registration and renewal process. The platform was launched on 18th August, 2022 in Livingstone at the 2022 ZCILT Annual General Meeting. Further, the implementation of the e-ZCILT online platform is meant to enhance membership registration/renewal and data base management. From 1st January 2023, all ZCILT membership and practicing license registrations and renewals will be conducted online by visiting our website on www.zcilt.org.zm.
